Human Resource Manager

Overview
JOB SUMMARY: Assist with various activities and responsibilities in the areas of benefits administration, employment, wage and salary administration, EEO/AAP, employee/industrial relations and general personnel administration.
Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment
Manager general recruitment for all positions at the facility
Hourly/non-exempt
Contingency/Retained searches for Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering positions
Co-op Program
Coordinate Employee Orientation
Employee Relations
Assist/handle performance, attendance, and pay issues for all areas of the facility
Coordinate all necessary disciplinary action
Training/Organizational Development
Develop, coordinate and facilitate plant wide training programs
Manage local developmental testing program
Exit interview analysis in areas of recruitment responsibility
Safety/Worker's Compensation
OSHA Compliance
Incident Investigation
Chair Safety Committee
Workers Compensation Administration
Benefits
Distribute information about benefit programs (including medical, dental, tuition reimbursement, etc?) to employees via written material, one-on-one conferences and group meetings
Assist in administering plans in accordance with COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
Prepare, distribute, collect, maintain, and log all forms in accordance with Federal and State laws
Coordinate informational employee meetings regarding benefits and other education events
Miscellaneous
Coordinate various company events
Outside community and business relations
Various other projects assigned
Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL LEVEL REQUIRED:
Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
7-10 years' experience in Human Resources with experience in a manufacturing environment.
Management
Exposure to benefits administration desired.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Human Resources issues.
High level of organization skills.
Analytical ability.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
